摘要:composite ribbed shell is a new kind of spatial structure, it retains all the advantages of thin concrete shell, while eliminates the need for temporary formworks and minimizes the required falsework. Under normal condition, structure deformation, force-transmission path and internal force distribution are researched. With load pressure increasing, elastoplastic performance is studied thoroughly including plastic deformation, variation of axial forces and bending moments in composite ribs and reinforcement concrete shell etc. Finally the influence of different RC thickness to ultimate bearing capability is discussed. It is found that: the structure deformation under self-weight and homogenlous pressure is small. In the middle of composite ribbed shell, composite ribs are mainly subjected to axial pressure, while RC shell are membrane pressure, on the edge of the structure, bending moments in composite ribs and RC shell become greater. In elastoplastic phase ultimate bearing capability is varied with different RC thickness, whereas the trends of each load-displacement curve are similar, and the maximum deformation occurs near the second rib from the edge part, the distribution rule of internal force is approximately similar to normal working situation, but the variation is much smaller, and internal force values are larger. Two perpendicular composite ribs through structure center are the main members to transfer loading, the force-transmission path is clear and smooth.
