    基于青海东部地区自然环境及多元民族文化发展的历史脉络，从先民居住形态特征、游牧与农耕的交融碰撞、多元民族文化的融合等方面，系统分析了庄廓民居的产生与演变轨迹。指出庄廓民居是西北游牧文化与东部农耕文化的结合，其中自然环境是民居最初原型产生的主导因素，多元民族文化是驱动民居原型演变发展的主要原因。
