Abstract:

The title compound, [Zn (C10H9O2)2?CH3OH], crystallizes with the triclinic space group P-1 with cell parameters a=9.4115 (6) ?, b=9.9001 (6) ?, c=12.4263 (7) ?, α=103.3520 (10), β=101.7320 (10), γ=113.3930 (10), and Z=2; two bidentate benzoylacetonate anions and one methanol molecule in the asymmetric unit.
