Abstract:

This paper systemized the theoretical researches and practices on low-carbon urban planning, pointing out that the difficulty in the construction of low-carbon city lies on the coalition of low-carbon concept and specific planning work, thus analyzing the “Low-carbon Confusion” which has confined low-carbon urban planning practice within our nation, proposing opposition against predispositions of Pollyanna and one-sided negative. Meanwhile, with the assistance of philosophical practice view, the whole paper established an orientation on low-carbon city planning goes by the name of “rational practical view on low-carbon city planning” through collection of philosophical methodologies, namely, the combination of the objective restriction and subjective initiative as well as the coalition of practical methodology and target system, thus to promote the scientific research and practice on low-carbon city planning.
