摘要：Pedestrian bridge is important for most cities to solve traffic problems in China. It can separate pedestrian from motor vehicle in space, resolve traffic congestion of main road, closely connect pedestrian overpass with subway, sidewalk, shopping promenade, urban residential area and square to perfect walk traffic system and improve trip environment. Moreover sufficient utilization ratio indicates the success of the pedestrian bridge. In this paper, characteristic of the times, the idea of sustainable development and modern urban design are combined to study the construction, but no longer from the pure engineering angle. Effective approaches are proposed to enhance utilization ratio of the pedestrian bridge by analyzing site selection, architectural design, structure design, landscape design, management and maintenance.
