本人任职于西安建筑科技大学化学与化工学院应用化学系，主讲《化工原理》、《煤化工》、《大学化学》、《化工原理课程设计》等课程，作为主要参与者获批《大学化学》陕西省一流课程一门。目前，主要从事传质与分离技术、水处理技术、微化工技术等方面的研究工作。近年来主持和参与国家科技支撑计划1项、陕西省重点研发计划1项、陕西省自然科学基金1项、西安市碑林区科技计划2项、西安建筑科技大学人才基金1项、西安建筑科技大学青年科技基金1项。发表SCI、EI、中文核心期刊论文50余篇（第一和通讯作者论文30余篇），参编编著三本，参与授权专利三项。荣获“2024中国知网高被引学者TOP5%”。
