本人任职于西安建筑科技大学化学与化工学院应用化学系，主讲化工原理、煤化工、大学化学、化工原理课程设计等课程，作为主要参与者获批《大学化学》陕西省一流课程一门。目前，主要从事传质与分离技术、水处理技术、微化工技术等方面的研究工作。近年来发表SCI、EI、中文核心期刊论文50余篇（第一和通讯作者论文30余篇），参编专著一本，参与授权专利三项。
