Abstract:
This paper presents a downsampling strategy for nonnegative Tucker approximations (NTA). The proposed method consists of three stages: downsample on the original tensor, perform NTA on the downsampled tensor and interpolate on the derived features. Experimental results demonstrate that the downsampling method can greatly reduce computation time while keeping subequal relative error with un-downsampling case.
