Abstract:
Aiming at titanium alloy cutting force calculation formula of centerless lathe is difficulty and complexity at present, the cutting law of difficult -machining titanium alloy is explored by measuring the main motor current. It has broken the traditional experiment platform of measuring cutting force and it no need to build a test platform. At the same time,according to the data of centerless lathe’s main spindle motor current,cutting depth and feed speed,an experience formula of cutting force is fitted out in SPSS by making the linear regression analysis. This empirical formula was verified has actually guided significance in the process and set the stage research for the further study of cutting mechanism of titanium alloy.
