Abstract:
The article studies reciprocating membrane pump's fault diagnosis in vibration signals analysis term. The pump's fault status were investigated with wavelet-fractal technology in consideration of the signals' nonlinear and nonsteady. The pump's vibration signals under the situations of different wearing clearance were collected. These different vibration signals were reconstructed by wavelet,and the correlation dimensions of every wavelet-packets were calculated. The research indicates that the wearing fault's characteristic frequency bands are high frequency ones. The correlation dimensions of high frequency can be used as fault diagnosis features. The results also show that the wavelet-fractal is effective to monitor the occurrence and development of the wearing fault.
