- Abstract:
- Arch bridge or arch frame of building masonry arch-bridge is a kind of plane-curved-bar system of bearing pressure.When the load of arch carrying reaches critical load,the whole arch will lost stability of balance.Based on theory of precise transfer matrix method and differential equation of circular arch in plane,a precise transfer matrix format for plane-buckling analysis of circular arch under uniform load is derived explicitly.And has calculated the critical load of circular arch with different boundary constraints by the method, compared with the theoretical solution, they anastomosed each other well.It shows that the method is right and effective.
