Wang Dengjia, male, recipient of the National Science Fund for Distinguished Young Scholars (Class A), Youth Top-notch Talent of the "Special Support Plan" of Shaanxi Province, Leading Talent in Scientific and Technological Innovation for Middle-aged and Young People in Shaanxi Province. He is a Second-level Professor and Doctoral Supervisor at Xi'an University of Architecture and Technology (XAUAT), and serves as the Executive Vice Dean of the Institute for Interdisciplinary and Innovation Research at XAUAT.
Professor Wang studied at Xi'an University of Architecture and Technology from September 2002 to June 2006, graduating with a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Heating, Gas Supply, Ventilation and Air Conditioning Engineering. From September 2006 to July 2008, he continued at XAUAT and received a Master of Engineering degree in the same field. From September 2009 to May 2012, he pursued his doctoral studies at XAUAT, earning a Ph.D. in Heating, Gas Supply, Ventilation and Air Conditioning Engineering.From June 2012 to November 2014, he served as a Lecturer in the School of Environmental and Municipal Engineering at XAUAT. From October 2012 to March 2015, he conducted postdoctoral research at the Postdoctoral Mobile Station of Environmental Science and Engineering at XAUAT. From November 2014 to June 2017, he was an Associate Professor and Master's Supervisor in the School of Environmental and Municipal Engineering. In December 2017, he was exceptionally promoted to Professor and became a Doctoral Supervisor in the School of Building Services Science and Engineering. In November 2024, he was appointed Executive Vice Dean of the Institute for Interdisciplinary and Innovation Research at XAUAT.
Professor Wang Dengjia's research focuses primarily on low-carbon building environments and energy efficiency, renewable energy heating and air conditioning, and the comprehensive utilization of building-integrated solar thermal and photovoltaic technologies. In April 2022, he received the China Renewable Energy Society's Science and Technology Figure Award – Outstanding Young Scientific and Technological Talent Award (one of only 10 recipients nationwide).
