1995年6月，毕业于西安建筑科技大学建筑系城市规划与设计学专业，获工学学士学位，同年留校任教。工作期间，在职攻读硕博学位，于2002年5月获得城市规划与设计硕士学位，2012年1月获得建筑设计与理论专业博士学位。2002年10月，获得注册城市规划师资格。现为西安建筑科技大学建筑学院城乡规划学系副教授，硕士生导师，建筑学院老年建筑与环境工程技术研究中心核心成员。
