- A total of 3 pseudo-static experiments have been conducted for three planar experimental specimens. The influences of axial load ratio and beam-column linear stiffness ratio on the frame seismic behavior are investigated. The load-displacement hysteretic curves, skeleton curves and the load and displacement values for different stages are obtained. The failure characteristics, ductility, energy dissipation capacity, load bearing capacity and stiffness degrade are studied. The experimental results show that the load-displacement hysteretic curves are stable, and the deformation properties and energy dissipation capacity are good. The increase of axial load ratio decreases the frame ductility and lateral ultimate capacity, but leads to higher energy dissipation capacity. With the increase of the beam-column linear stiffness ratio, the ductility and energy dissipation capacity become low, but the lateral ultimate capacity becomes high. Test results provide a reference for the engineering application of concrete filled square steel tube columns and steel beam frames.
