Network Security based Application in Wireless Sensor Networks

Abstract:: Wireless sensor networks have recently attracted a lot of interest due to the range of applications they enable. so does the need for effective security mechanisms. However, due to inherent resource and computing constraints, security in sensor networks poses different challenges than traditional network security. In this paper, we argue that the Wireless sensor networks security research generally considers mechanisms that are modeled after and evaluated against abstract applications and Wireless sensor networks organizations. With this in mind, we survey the major topics in wireless sensor networks security based application and propose that an effective solution for sensor network must be sensitive to the application and infrastructure. In last, we illustrate this solution via two example applications.
