He has long been engaged in research and technology promotion in areas such as earthquake resistance of village and town buildings, renovation of dilapidated rural buildings, and protection of traditional dwellings. It has successively conducted earthquake damage assessments on large-scale primary and secondary school buildings in Xi'an's Chang'an District, Beilin District, Lantian County and other earthquake areas, and participated in the appraisal of the renovation of dangerous rural houses in Dali County, Shaanxi, and the renovation of farmhouses in Laiyuan, Hebei.
