- 摘要:
- A laboratory-scale sequencing batch reactor (SBR) fed with synthetic high-ammonium wastewater was operated for partial nitritation, and the effect of the Dissolved Oxygen (DO) concentration on the N2O emission was investigated. From a macroscopic viewpoint, as the DO concentration increased from 0.35 to 0.6 and 0.85 mg L–1, the N2O emission decreased from 43.33 3.41 to 21.84 1.83 and 6.83 0.90 mg, accounting for 3.60% 0.32%, 1.81% 0.16% and 0.57% 0.08% of influent total nitrogen, respectively. During a single cycle, N2O emission was observed whether oxygen was provided or not, indicating that N2O production pathways of NH2OH oxidation and nitrifier denitrification coexisted. A close relationship between the ammonia oxidation rate and N2O emission rate was observed, and the concentration of free nitrous acid (FNA) had no noteworthy effect on the N2O emission. From a microscopic viewpoint, at different DO concentrations, around 60% of N2O production was mainly observed within 1000 m of the surfaces of sludge aggregates where ammonium oxidization mainly occurred, indicating the predominant pathway of NH2OH oxidation. It was found that, as the DO concentration decreased, both pathways generated greater N2O emissions.
