Wu Ya-Jie, PHD of Civil Engineering, Tongji University, Associate Professor at Xi'an University of Architecture and Technology, Master's supervisor, Visiting Scholar at the University of British Columbia, Canada, Shaanxi Qin Chuang Yuan attracts high-level innovative and entrepreneurial talents, Selected for the Shaanxi Provincial Association for Science and Technology Youth Talent Support Program, Xi'an University of Architecture and Technology's Young Qinglan Scholar.
Mainly engaged in disaster prevention, protection, and heritage utilization of ancient buildings, structural performance evolution and resilience enhancement, as well as research on new materials and new structures. Has led and participated in more than ten projects, including the National Natural Science Foundation, the National Key R&D Program, key projects in Shaanxi Province, and key projects in Shanghai. As the first author/corresponding author, published over 30 representative papers in authoritative domestic and international journals such as the Journal of 《土木工程学报》, 《建筑结构学报》, 《Journal of Structural Engineering》, and 《Engineering Structures》. Served as a primary drafter for two association standards and held the position of associate editor for the Engineering History and Heritage journal of the Institution of Civil Engineers (ICE).
