Research interests include sustainable urban–rural development in Northwest China, urban and rural planning and design, urban regeneration, and the adaptive reuse of underutilized assets. Over ten papers have been published as first author in leading academic journals, including six indexed in SSCI, A&HCI, and CSSCI.
