Chaos Characteristics of Reciprocating Membrane Pump’s Faults Based on Wavelet Packets Analysis

- The chaos characteristics of the reciprocating membrane pump’s typical fault s were studied with wavelet packet technology．The largest Lyapunov exponent s of different status were calculated．A new parameter: the relative grow th rate of the largest Lyapunove exponent was set up．The result s show that the system has different largest Lyapunov exponents when wearing places are different．Wearing fault s’characteristic f requency bands are high frequency ones while the pressure’s are low and middle f requency ones．
